WHAT ARE FX FACES PROSTHETICS?
Fx faces prosthetics are soft, foam latex appliances that are glued directly to your skin. They move will all your facial expressions, bringing them to life! They are all designed and created by hand in our Los Angeles Makeup studio. FX FACES Prosthetics are exactly like the appliances used in today's movies and T.v. shows.
All Fx faces are "Generic-fit", which means they will fit most all adult faces.
DO THEY COME PRE-COLORED?
No. All of our prosthetics come to you uncolored. This allows you to paint your FX Face the way you want!
CAN I REUSE FX FACES?
Yes. With proper care and removal, you can expect approx. 6 uses, although we have had customers use their Fx Face over 30 times!
WHAT WILL I NEED TO PUT ON AN FX FACE?
Heres a basic list of the items needed :
· ADHESIVE (spirit gum, pro-adhesive, silicone adhesives, etc)
· RUBBER MASK GREASEPAINT,AIRBRUSH MAKEUP or Cream makeups used with Castor sealer (oil).
· LOOSE POWDER
· MAKEUP SPONGES
· POWDER PUFF
· MAKEUP BRUSHES
· ADHESIVE REMOVER
HOW LONG CAN I WEAR AN FX FACE?
With proper adhesion, you can wear your Fx face prosthetic as long as you want. Since they allow your head to breathe freely, you won't overheat, like with traditional Halloween masks.
CAN I USE REGULAR HALLOWEEN MAKEUP ON FX FACES?
No, not without first using a Castor sealer on the appliance first. Regular makeups will streak and eventually break down the foam latex without this sealer. We recommend using Rubber Mask Greasepaint, pax paints, Alcohol based makeups or prosthetic grade airbrush makeups.
I HAVE NO MAKEUP TRAINING. CAN I STILL APPLY FX FACES?

ARE FX FACES LIKE THOSE CHEAP SLIP LATEX MASKS?
No. We only use GM Foam's Hot foam system for all FX FACES. They are all solid, soft foam latex.
