Begin by gluing your prosthetic down completely as shown in "How to apply an FX FACES prosthetic". Seal the surface of the foam with a thin layer of either Pro-adhesive or Liquid latex. Allow to dry and powder. Brush off excess powder.

We pre-glued the horns in place for this application. We colored the horns with acrylic paint and then a light layer of spray sealant, like crystal clear. We used Super glue to set the horns in place before we glued the prosthetic to the model's face.

You may note that custom contact lenses are already in place. This can be easier than putting them in after your makeup is complete.

Your now ready begin coloring. Start with a base tone color. For this application we're using a Blue/green aqua tone. We mixed small amounts of blue, yellow and a fleshtone RMG to get this color. Using a makeup sponge, apply the makeup over all areas of foam and skin that will show in your completed makeup. If you have pre-glued the horns, be careful to not to an excess of makeup on them. Powder well to set the Makeup & brush off excess powder.
Your now ready to begin adding a highlight color over the base tone. We wanted a lighter shade of our base tone color so we added a small amount of white RMG to our base color. Using the flat side of a makeup sponge, dab into your RMG picking up a small amount of makeup. Don't add too much or it will fill in the details of the prosthetic. Lightly dab the sponge over the surface of the foam and skin, allowing the makeup to only hit the higher spots of the appliance. This will leave the base tone showing in all the crevices, wrinkles, etc. Once you've finished with this step, powder well and brush off excess.

We then mixed a darker version of our base color by adding a small amount of black RMG. We used this color to create a few spots on the scaley areas of the face. This step is optional. We just thought it looked good in the final product.

We then mixed a pale yellow color by mixing a tiny, tiny amount of yellow RMG into white RMG. Using a small medium width brush, we painted the center ridge of horns. Powder well and brush off excess.

The Makeup is now complete. It's time to add final touches!

We've added some Morlock Fx Fangs and are using Black sceleral contact lenses.

Don't forget your costume!!
