Begin by gluing your prosthetic down completely as shown in "How to apply an FX FACES prosthetic".We also are using Demon FX Ears on this makeup. Seal the surface of the foam with a thin layer of either Pro-adhesive or Liquid latex. Allow to dry and powder. Brush off excess powder.

You may note that custom contact lenses are already in place. This can be easier than putting them in after your makeup is complete.

Your now ready begin coloring. Start with a base tone color. For this application we're using a red tone. We mixed a small amount of blue RMG into a Red RMG to get this color. Using a makeup sponge, apply the makeup over all areas of foam and skin that will show in your completed makeup. Powder well to set the Makeup & brush off excess powder.

We then mixed a shading color by adding a small amount of black to our red base tone. Using a angled shading brush, we painted in all the deep areas, like the ears, eye sockets, nostrils, etc.

Your now ready to begin adding a highlight color over the base tone. We wanted a lighter shade of our base tone color so we added a small amount of a light fleshtone to our base color. Using the flat side of a makeup sponge, dab into your RMG picking up a small amount of makeup. Don't add too much or it will fill in the details of the prosthetic. Lightly dab the sponge over the surface of the foam and skin, allowing the makeup to only hit the higher spots of the appliance. This will leave the base tone showing in all the crevices, wrinkles, etc. Once you've finished with this step, powder well and brush off excess. We've now added the horns to the makeup. Super glues work best for this, but be very cautious when working with it near the skin! Pro-adhesive can also work for this. We previously painted the horns using acrylic paint.

The Makeup is now complete. It's time to add final touches!

We've added Lucis FX Fangs & Custom contact lenses.

Don't forget your costume!!
